In a history of sorts, superstar Aamir Khan released the music of this season,s most awaited film Saheb biwi aur gangster in Mumbai recently. This is the first time that the top actor endorsed a movie in which he has not acted or produced.

MD Brandsmith Motion Pictures and the producer of the film Rahul Mittra along with the main star cast and director Tigmanshu Dhulia did the honours along with the superstar. The new theatrical promo and the music videos were also unveiled at a glittering function packed with national media, where Aamir spent almost an hour with the main crew and cast.

"I am elated that Aamir has released the music and gave a thumbs up to all the songs, especially Jugni. Ours is a musical delight and with eight numbers in our album, the audiences are going to love the music of our film," said an upbeat Mittra.

Directed by new age cult writer-director Tigmanshu Dhulia, Saheb biwi aur gangster starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Randeep Hooda, Vipin Sharma, Deepraj Rana & Shreya Narayan, the makers are gearing up for a grand release on September 30.

"We have roped in seven composers to give a different flavour to music buffs, namely Jaidev Kumar, Mukhtar Sahota, Amit Sial, Anuj Garg, Sunil Bhatia, Abhishek Ray and Ankit Tewari. Singers include Baboo Mann, Rekha Bhardwaj, Shreya Ghoshal, Arif Lohar, Parthiv Gohil, Shail Hada, Debojit Saha, Vipin Aneja & Ankit Tewari. Lyrics are by renowned lyricist Sandeep Nath and going by the feedback of people, I think we have a winner in hand," exclaimed an elated Rahul Mittra.

The second theatrical promo featuring Jugni by Baboo Maan & Jaidev Kumar is currently playing on all the channels and is one of the most watched videos on the internet.
